Description: structured code comments for Node.js
commenting is a small Node.js module that wraps arbitrary text
in the correct comment syntax for a given file extension,
letting you embed explanations or metadata without exposing them
 as visible content.
 .
It’s especially helpful when serving static assets: if a requested
file doesn’t exist, many static servers return a full HTML 404 page,
which can break clients expecting CSS, JS, JSON, or images.
With Commenting, you can instead return a syntactically valid comment
avoiding content‑type mismatches and client‑side errors.
 .
It also works well as a development tool for injecting build details,
version info, or other annotations directly into your output files
 in a clean, consistent format.
 .
 Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
